MOBERLY
Mrs. Phoebe Morgan Moberly, wife of Mr. James M. Moberly, died, 1 o'clock a. m. Wednesday, at the sanitarium of Dr. Evans, Lexington. Ten days since, she had gone to Lexington for treatment. The recent tragedy committed by her husband, was such a shock to her whole nervous system that she was completely prostrated. There were hopes of her recovery the day before her death, but she grew worse instead of better and died in convulsions. Her remains were brought home for interment and the funeral was conducted by Rev. J. E. Wright, pastor of the M. E. church, 2 o'clock, p.m. at the residence of Mr. George P. Chinn and the interment was in Spring Hill cemetery. The deceased was the only child of John and Hannah Morgan and a lady of culture and refinement and highly esteemed by her relatives and friends. She leaves to mourn her loss, an aged mother and four children, Mrs. James Reed, of Lexington, Miss Hannah Moberly, Mr. Burr Moberly and Mr. Gore Moberly.
