Mrs. Minnie Wagner, 72, a lifetime resident of the town of Edson, passed away at 5:25 last Thursday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she had been a patient for about a week.

Minnie Niesius was born in Edson, Oct. 17, 1882. She was married to Wenzel Wagner on Oct. 23, 1900, at Sacred Heart Church in Edson. Mr. Wagner preceded her in death in 1934.

Mrs. Wagner is survived by seven children, Mrs. Henry (Anna) Steinmetz, Sr., of Stanley; Mrs. Ferd (Celia) Naus, Town of Edson; Mrs. Henry (Verona) Derks, Bloomer; Mrs. Weslaf (Viola) Hera, Edson; Peter of Edson, William of Stanley and Robert of Thorp. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Lena Herrick of Stanley, 51 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 Monday morning, at Sacred Heart Church in Edson, with Rev. John Pinion officiating. Interment was made in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
