Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Miller, 69, of Topeka Community were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Tilton Methodist Church.
Mrs. Miller died December 21 at the Walthall County Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Topeka and a retired school cafeteria cook. She was a Methodist.
Rev. Hugh Felder was in charge of the service assisted by Rev. Rex Yancy. Special music was by Mr. and Mr. Sherrod Rayborn and Denver Nelson. Burial was in the Tilton Cemetery with Lawrence County Funeral Home in charge.
She is survived by her husband, Joby Miller, two sons, Herman Miller and James Edward Miller; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Carr; a brother, Lee Wallace; one sister, Mrs. Ettie Caves, all of the Topeka Community, and 7 grandchildren.
