Eva Barnwell Moody, 76, of 11 Old Dunham Bridge Road, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at her home.
Born in Bedford, England, she was the widow of Hyrum Smith Moody and was the daughter of the late Alfred William Barnwell and Blanche Ripley Gibson Barnwell.
Mrs. Moody was a former employee of The Greenville News and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are a brother-in-law, A.V. Moody Sr., and a sister-in-law, Ollie K. Moody, both of Greenville; nieces, Glenda Ellen Linn of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Julia M. Hill of Greenville, Dana K. Moody of Piedmont, Angela Barnwell-Wilkinson of Greenville, and Julie Boozer of Piedmont; and nephews, A.V. Moody Jr. and wife, Robyn, of Piedmont, Alan Barnwell of Belton, Daren Barnwell of Greenville, and Davis Barnwell Jr., of Anderson.
Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Farrs Bridge Road.
The family will receive friends at the church, prior to the service, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
