Deaths

Mrs. Emma Holland, 76, of Stumpy Lake, Princess Anne County, died Thursday at 8 p.m. after a heart attach. She had been in failing health for some time.

Mrs. Holland was the widow of William D. Holland and daughter of the late Charles H. and Mrs. Mary V. Newman.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charles Brown, of Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Capps, Princess Anne County, and Mrs William Virdine, Norfolk; three sons, Clarence Holland, of Princess Anne; Joseph Holland, of Portsmouth, and Henry Holland, of Norfolk County; one sister, Mrs. Anna H. Rhodes, Norfolk.

The body was removed to the J. R. Williams Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.

Mrs. Emma Holland – Funeral services for Mrs. Holland, who died Thursday, were conducted yesterday at 2 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home, South Norfolk, by the Rev. James M. McNair, pastor of the Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Pallbearers were Harvey, Herman and Elmer Kattes, Joseph Holland, Jr., and William and G. E. Rhodes, Jr. Burial was in Riverside Memorial Park.
