Mrs. Masterson, 93, of Arkansas City, was born to Felix and Rusha Davis Pulliam. At an early age she with the family moved to McClain County where she spent most of her life. She attended school at Johnson and Washington where she graduated.

In December of 1933 she married Ralph Masterson. They resided on a farm in the Johnson Community for many years until moving to Purcell in 1960. She was employed at McCurdy Memorial Hospital until the Purcell Municipal Hospital was established in 1970. She retired from there in October 1982. After retiring, she continued to volunteer at the hospital for many years.

Carmen was an active member of Heartland Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph in 1976, 5 sisters and a brother, she is survived by her sons and wives, Nathan and Ramona Masterson of Arkansas City, KS, Jerrald and Karen Masterson of Purcell, OK; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
