ANSBACK - Rita Osborn "GiGi," 88, of Louisville, died peacefully at her home Saturday, May 8, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gus Ansback. She was a homemaker and self-taught artist. She painted her family's world with a lifetime of loving, giving, caring and nurturing and also found the time to color the world a happier, brighter place for others. She is survived by her children: a son, Gus Ansback (Ruth), of Louisville and her two daughters, Patricia Lucas (David) of Tuscon, AZ and Joey Ansback of Louisville. Gi Gi especially cherished her special "angels," five grandchildren, Jill Ford, Jeff Warner and Bert, Evan and Ellie Ansback and five great-grandchildren, Spencer and Sydney Ford and Rachel, Ryan and Olivia Warner. There will be a private funeral and burial. Ratterman and Sons are entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
