Services for Mrs. Marandia Sue Mitchell, 88 of 1709 Abe Street in Shreveport, will be held at 1 pm Saturday January 12 at Terrell's Metropolitan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Mary Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Cane, La.
Mrs. Mitchell died Sunday January 6, 1985, at Hospital. She was born in Desoto Parish, La. Mrs. Mitchell was a member and deaconess at New Star Baptist Church. The Rev AL Carter, pastor In Shreveport. She Is survived by four daughters Mrs. Annie Nash, Mrs. Prince Mitchell, Mrs. Pearline Thomas and Mrs. Mary Mitchell, three sons, Mr. Fred Mitchell, Mr. Edward Mitchell of Mansfield La, and Mr. Eugune Mitchell of Leesville La. three sisters Mrs. Lucille Riptoe of Shreveport. Mrs. Alice Johnson of Mansfield, and Mrs. Katie Allen of Houston Texas, one brother Mr. Willie Anthony of Los Angeles Calif. 35 grandchildren 88 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons; Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons.
