Pauline Pace Robinson, age 90, formerly of 77 Blalock Street, Born in Cherokee County, NC on Feb. 25, 1920 passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010, after living a full and wonderful life, at the Brian Center in Waynesville, NC. She resided in Canton, NC.

She was born on February 25, 1920, in Marble, NC and was the daughter of the late Early Alexander and Birdie Mae Neal Pace. She had been a resident of Haywood County since 1924 when her parents moved to Canton. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Eugene Ellis Robinson, who died in 1993; a granddaughter, Sherri Lynn McClure, who died in 1989; and seven brothers and sisters, Wendel Pace, E. A. Pace, Jr., Winston Pace, Forrest Pace, Edith Pace Summey, Wayne Earnest Pace, and Arnold Pace.

She was a long time member of West Canton Baptist Church and much enjoyed her church family who continued to support her with their visits, prayers, and gifts. The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Brian Center for their loving care during the last years of her life.

She is survived by four daughters, nine grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and her roommate at the Brian Center and special friend.
