Clinton County, Ohio was formed from Warren County, Ohio and Highland County, Ohio in the year 1810. Mary Hoblit Steven was born in 1806 before the County of Clinton was formed. My direct lineage is through Sarah Hoblit, Mary Hoblit's younger sister, born in 1809 and the County of Clinton is listed as her place of birth too. I have been to Clinton County, Ohio and the Genealogical Society has no information on the Hoblit family. That is my brick-wall. Trying to find out where Sarah Hoblit was born -- not Clinton Co, OH
