Jennie was a pretty little black-eyed woman, a midwife. When a woman’s ‘time’ came, the expectant father would go after Jennie on his horse and she’d ride behind him back to his home. She was blind before her death. Jennie & Hezekiah are buried at Antioch Church Cemetery near Big Clifty, Grayson Co., KY. They had at least ten children: John Calhoun, Martha, Josiah, Oliver, Emily Elizabeth, William W., George Robert, Anne, Sarah Waggoner and Mary Lucretia. (Note: Most researchers agree that the Aaron P. Hart born ca. 1815 and who married Lucinda Akers was the son of Oliver & Jane (Polk) Hart. Perhaps he might have been the son of Jennie (Goforth) & Hezekiah Hart. If so, he was probably the oldest child.)
