The following information was obtained from Tennie Dalton's obituary in the 1966 issue of the Mulberry Gap Association minutes, page 22:
LENNIE (sic) DALTON, daughter of Ira and Sarah Dalton, was born March 30, 1892 (sic), departed this life Janurary 13, 1966. He (sic) was 73 years, 10 months and 14 days old.
She professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Cedar Springs Baptist Church where she remained a member until death.
She was married to Archie Dalton in 1909, and to this union were born four children.
Children, Henderson, Vada, Robert, Thorn Hill; Claude, Sneedville; one stepson, Archie, Morristown; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren;
