Thelma Canard FORT WORTH -- Thelma Canard, 80, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Dalton- Holmes Funeral Chapel in Durant, Okla. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Sunday at Olive Place Baptist Church, 3283 Olive Place in Fort Worth. Burial: Highland Cemetery in Durant, Okla.
Memorials: Olive Place Baptist Church Building Fund.
Thelma Canard was born June 23, 1918, in Kingfisher County, Okla.
She had lived in the Fort Worth area 10 years and was a member of Olive Place Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. C. "Click" Canard, in 1987.
Survivors: Son, Kenneth Canard and his wife, Patricia, of Benbrook; daughter, Doris Harrington of Fort Worth; brother, James Watson of Ottumwa, Iowa; sisters, Natalie Daniel of Mead, Okla., and Jean Kay of Longview; seven grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren.
