Harold ("Goody") Goodman was born in New York City, one of five brothers and sisters. His father died when Harold was eight. In 1945 after serving in Europe during WWII he married Zelda Sack (b. 1915) and resided in Syracuse, New York. He left two sons, Terry (b.1946), currently residing in Miami, Fl, and Donald (b. 1953) who resides in Israel.
At the time of his death he had three grandchildren
