Richard "Dick" Lee Gosnell, 73, of Fruitland Park, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008. Mr. Gosnell was a retired supervisor with Michigan Bell. Mr. Gosnell was born in Asheville, N.C., he was a member of Southpointe Baptist Fellowship in Leesburg, and he was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Jean Gosnell of Fruitland Park; sons, Steven Lee Gosnell of Kokomo, Ind.; John Berry Gosnell of Bismarck, N.D.; daughter, Ruth Rennels of Niles, Mich.; grandson, Joshua Lee Beacher Gosnell of Bismarck, N.D.; sisters, Dorothy Foster of Forrest, Va., Peggy Peek of Columbia, S.C., Betty Sue Exum of Burton, Mich.; brothers, James Gosnell of Flint, Mich., Roy Lee Gosnell of Greenville, S.C., Stephen Vaughn Gosnell of Winter Garden; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Southpointe Baptist Fellowship, Leesburg with Pastor Ron Cook officiating. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local hospice. Arrangements are entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Leesburg.
