Chris Pace, 57, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at Margaret R. Pardee Memorial hospital, following a sudden illness.

He was born in Henderson County, a son of the late George Burgin Pace and Pearl Lee Green Pace, and had been a lifelong resident of the area.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Sain.
