Carrie Herteux, 37, of Nampa, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010 at her home. Services are pending Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.

Carrie Herteux (1973 - 2010)
Carrie Ellen South Herteux, born Jan. 7, 1973, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Feb. 23, 2010, at her home in Nampa.
Carrie was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was known by all to have a caring attitude and smiling face as she went about life.
She was born at Hahn A.F.B, Germany to Don and Jill South, the eldest daughter of 10 children.
Most of her life was spent in Orem, Utah where she graduated from Orem High School in 1991.
She married her eternal companion, Darrick Herteux, on Jan. 7, 2000. Shortly thereafter they moved to the Boise area where she enjoyed raising her family. Carrie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Please contribute your memories at www.carrieherteux.com.
She is survived by her husband Darrick and her six beautiful children, Alexsis Lukins(17) and Maddeysen Lukins(14), Caydan Hurst (13), and Baylie Herteux (9), Landen Herteux (6), and Marlie Herteux(2); her father Don (Pam) South, and siblings, Mikle (Kristin) South, Greg (Kirsten) South, Heidi (Dave) Millar, Jeff (Carolé) South, Jeni (Patrick) Huff, Marc (Lindsey) South, Ashlee (Brent) Gurney, Wendi (Chad) Wengel, and Caryn (Eric Paul) South.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Robin Jill South, her grandmothers and a grandfather.
Memorial services will be held at the LDS Birch Lane Chapel, 6111 Birch Lane, Nampa.
A viewing will be held from 2 to 2:45 p.m., with a memorial service to follow in the chapel at 3 p.m.
Memorial services will be held at the Heather Road Chapel, 620 E. Heather Road, Orem, Utah.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with a short memorial service to follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. Internment will be at 12 p.m., at the Orem City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
