Mrs. Mattie Rains, age 84, of Lee died in the local hospital Wednesday after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Madison County. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. J. R. Dickinson, of Tampa; and Miss Vesta Blanton, of Lee and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday in Corinth Primitive Baptist Church and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Madison Enterprise
