COBBTOWN - JoeAnn Sapp Hensley, 76, died Saturday, January 30, 2010, at her home. She was born in Pulaski, Georgia to Joe and Alma DeLoach Sapp. She lived her early years there graduating from Pulaski High School where she loved roller skating. JoeAnn had lived in Cobbtown since 1956, was a homemaker and a secretary at Hensley Tobacco Warehouse for many years. She was a member of the Cobbtown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Doris Foss. Survivors are her husband, Don Hensley; son, Jeff Hensley; daughter, Donna Hensley; one grandson, Hensley Jarriel, all of Cobbtown; two sisters, Hazel Williams of Pulaski and Ouida Livingston of Swainsboro; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel with Rev. Sterling Bargeron officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Primitive Baptist Foundation (Haiti), Darryl Harris, Sec./Tres., POB 595, Roswell, GA 30077 to assist with Haiti relief.
