Mrs. Cullen C. Hickok, nee Susan Tolen; Born Ireland 4/27/1834. Came to America at the age of 13. She married Cullen C. Hickok in February 1851 in Whitehall, NY. They came to Il. in 1861 and to Sandwich in 1872. Cullen C. Hickok died 2/4/1883. Susan Tolen Hickok died 3/30/1891. They leave 5 sons; WM C Hickok, Sylvester Hickok, Fred H Hickok, Walter W. Hickok, and Herbert S. Hickok all of Sandwich Illinois. They leave 4 daughters Mrs. Sarah Pratt, and Mrs Katie Eberly of Sandwich, Mrs. Jennie Cluff of Chicago, and Mrs. Chas McIntire of Plano. 3 more deceased children. Service at the Catholic Church in Somonauk. Buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich Illinois.
