Edmond Bell was the son of Benjamin Alexander Bell and Mary (MNUK) Bell. He was born in Botetourt County, Virginia in 1786. He came to the Sartin Springs area of Jefferson County, Tennessee with his parents around 1797. Edmond became a well known "chairmaker" in the area, and his chairs are highly prized as collectors items today. He married Elizabeth Walker of Jefferson County on November 30, 1814. Her father co-signed Edmond's Marriage Bond. Elizabeth (Walker) Bell passed away on June 15, 1855 and was buried in the Miller Cemetery. We suspect Edmond is buried there also, though we have no records of proof. The date of his death is unknown @ present.
