She was a member of Eau Claire Baptist Church, the WMU, the XYZ Club and the Craft Club. Mrs. Black was also a member of Kings Daughters and the Whatcha Doin' Club. Martha found solace in her craftwork including crocheting and sewing. She was a wonderful Southern cook who was known for her peanut brittle.
She was predeceased by a son, Royce Black, a daughter, Sybil E. Craft, a grandchild, Billy Craft.
