Mrs. Mary Catherine Knox, 68 years old, died April 25, 1926 at the family home Saturday in Oklahoma City. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Lincold McConnell. Mary was buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mary was survived by three daughters, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Knox-Mrs. E.A. Liebman, Oklahoma City; Pearl Jane Knox-Mrs. Mathew Kennedy, El Reno, and Ora May Knox-Mrs. A.L. Robertson, El Reno; two sons, James Knox, El Reno, and John Knox, Kansas City. One son, Henry Knox of Hugo, OK was deceased.

Her father, William Kuhler, Sr., was born in the Westphalia Region of old Prussia in 1834. He immigrated to the United States's in 1855 and settled in Clayton County, Iowa, then Nebraska City, Nebraska and then in 1890 moved his family to Chariton County, Missouri where he farmed and raised his 15 children to adulthood.

Mary's father, William Kuhler died in 1917 and was buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Oregon, Missouri.
