Edna Bock, 87, Park Ridge, Ill.,
formerly of Burlington, died at her
home at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12,
1982.
Born in Burlington township on
Sept. 12, 1895, she was the daughter
of Willis V. and Eliza A. (Hendrix)
Polk. She was married to William
H. Bock on June 24, 1915, and he
preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters,
Mariam Marker, Park Ridge, Ill.
and Carolyn Morgan, Columbus,
Ohio; four grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
A brother and sister preceded her
in death.
A member of the Burlington
Brethren Church, she attended
Ashland College in Ohio and the
University of Chicago. From 1916
to 1920, she served as a missionary
to Argentina for the Brethren
church. She has lived in Park Ridge
since 1954.
Services were held Monday at
Neptune Funeral Home in Burlington
with Rev. Ken Goss officiating.
Burial was held in Burlington
Cemetery.
