Word was received Tuesday by Miss Kate Peterson of the death of Rev M B Gass at his home in Oliver springs that morning. He had been in failing health for several months. The remains will be buried near Sevierville today (Thursday) after funeral services at the home.
Rev Gass leaves a wife, 5 daughters, 1 son and 1 step-daughter. It will be recalled that he served the M E Church of Crossville for 2 years - 1931-1933. He was a comparatively young man and has many friends throughout this section who will deeply regret his passing.
