Judith South Cryer, 73, of Groves died April 23, 2011 at Magnolia Manor in Groves. Born March 30,1938 in Port Arthur, Judith was the daughter of L. E. and Anna Belle LeBlanc South. She retired after twenty-two years from Fina Petrochemical as a store room clerk. Judith liked to read, work puzzles, go fishing and water ski. She was described as intelligent with a good sense of humor.

Judith is survived by her children, Janet Ryden and her husband Jeff of Silsbee, Jill Celusta and her husband Darrin of Nederland, Greg Cryer and his wife Tessy of Port Arthur, Keith Cryer and his wife Jamie of Groves, and David Cryer and his wife Jean of Brooklet, Georgia; brother, Gordon South and his wife Ava Jane of Port Arthur; brother-in-law, Ed Yarborough of Nederland; twelve grandchildren and five great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Yarborough.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Broussard's Chapel, 505 12th Street, Nederland followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday evening, April 25, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard's.
