The Funeral of the late Oscar Williams, who died in the Clearfield Hospital Monday evening last as the result of injuries received in the clay mine of Harbison-Walker Refractories Company near Bigler earlier in the day, will be held from his late home Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.
The unfortunate man was 32 years old. He was born in Boggs Township and lived near Bigler. He was well and favorably known and was a member of the Red Men of Clearfield and the Summit Hill United Brethren church.
Besides his wife, whose maiden name was Helen Gearhart, he is survived by four children, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Williams, of near Wallaceton, and these brothers and sisters: Bertha, wife of John Emigh, of Wallaceton; Ernest Williams, of Clearfield; Ethel, wife of Reuben Smeal, of Bigler, and Miss Grace, Willis, Dorsey and Oliver, all at the parental home.
