From researching my distant Aunt, Eliza Leach Wilson, I believe that this is her gravestone. She was the 1st wife of William Carothers Wilson. He is also buried in this cemetery. She was born in 1810 and died April of 1861. She was on the 1850 and 1860 Census with her husband and children in Grayson, Texas. Her husband remarried in August of 1861 in McKinney, Collin County to Eliza Jane Throckmorton who is buried in the Van Alstyne Cemetery. She could not have been the 2nd wife of David Wilson III because if you look at David's memorial page his wife, Mary Ann Poteet Wilson, died in 1871. This Eliza died in 1861 so she could not have been his 2nd wife. She was his brother William's 1st wife.
