Mrs. Nellie Harris, 90, of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Black Hawk, died Oct. 7,2001 at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis of congestive heart failure. She was a home- maker.
Services were held Oct. 13 at Mount Nebo Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with Elder Claude Horton officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery near Black Hawk.
Mrs. Harris is survived by one daughter, Earline Owens of Indianapolis; two sisters, Betty Mae Russell of Jackson, Annie Mae Givens of Greenwood; two brothers, Walter Ellis of Covington, La., George Ellis of Jackson; and two grandchildren.
Roberts & Sons Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
