Mr. Forshee died Saturday, Aug. 31, 1996, at the Tonganoxie Nursing Center.
He was born Aug. 11, 1920, in Pleasant Grove, Ark., the son of George and Lizzie Younger Forshee. He had lived in this area since 1956 and worked at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City. He worked for the maintenance department and retired in 1985.
Surviving Mr. Forshee are three brothers, Truman Forshee, Topeka, Gerald Forshee, Niles, Mich., and Gene Forshee, Tonganoxie; and two sisters, Irmalee Helmer, Sacramento, Calif., and Vonita Grant, Lawrey City, Mo.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.
