Born October 7, 1907, in Fannetsburg, PA, he was a son of Garfield and Rebecca Wincer. He had lived in the Huntingdon area most of his life, and had formerly resided in Trough Creek where was employed in the Coy Coder sawmill.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, and belonged to the Wayside Chapel Church at Huntingdon, R.D. 3.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19, at 2 p.m. from the Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon, PA. The Rev. Amos Hommel will officiate and interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon, PA. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today and until the hour of the services Thursday.
