COUNTY PIONEER TAKEN BY DEATH.

Joseph Lefeber, 77, Expires at Home, 124 Rose Avenue, Today.
Joseph Lefeber, 77, lifelong resident of the county, died at 1:15 a.m. today at his home, 124 Rose ave. after three months illness.

The deceased was born Aug. 26, 1850, in the Town of Marshfield and resided there until 12 years ago, when he moved to this city. Mr. and Mrs. Lefeber celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in November 1926.

Surviving the deceased are his widow, Mrs. Mary Lefeber, five daughters, Mrs. Frank Michels of Elkhart Lake, Mrs. John Entringer of St. Cloud, Mrs. Charles Michels of this city, Mrs. Tony Pauly of St. Cloud, and Clara, at home, six sons, Michael, John, Chris, Al of St. Cloud, Stephen of St. Joe and Matt at home, three brothers, Peter and John of Mt. Calvary and Michael of Johnsburg and 34 grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Murray funeral parlors at the Zinke Funeral home and was removed to the residence today. The funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Monday from the residence and at 8:30 from St. Mary's church with the Rev. Peter Gersbach, pastor, officiating and at 10:30 from St. Claudius church at St. Cloud where the Rev. Stephen Zohlen will officiate. Burial will be at St. Claudius cemetery.

LEFEBER-The funeral of Joseph LeFeber, whose death occurred Thursday, was held at 9:15 a.m. today from the residence, 124 Rose ave. and at 9:30 from St. Mary's church, where a solemn requiem mass was read with the Rev. Peter Gersbach, pastor, as celebrant, the Rev. J.P. Heller of North Fond du Lac as deacon and the Rev. O. Ulrich, assistant pastor, as sub-deacon.

Pallbearers were Stephen Halbach, Joseph Haensgen, Phillip Weier, Henry Schilowsky, John Gerhartz and Joseph Nett.

After the service the body was taken to the Murray funeral parlors in the Zinke Funeral home. At 5:20 p.m. today it will be taken over the North Western to the Hochrein Funeral home in St. Cloud. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from St. Claudius church in St. Cloud with the Rev. Fr. Zohlen officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
