Published in the Raleigh Register, Tuesday, June 10, 1834: "In Johnston county, on the 29th ult. Mrs. Jemima Sanders, consort of Ransom Sanders, Esquire. Amiable and endearing in all the domestic and friendly relations of life, with principles and feelings firmly based on an expanded love for all mankind, and with a sincerity and humility of devotedness to our Heavenly Father, she left us with an assurance and expression, that there was rest in Heaven."
