Mrs. Malinda Ellis, mother of Mrs. J. H. Widener, died Tuesday at her daughter's home, two miles east of Jones City. The funeral Services were conducted Thursday forenoon at the M. E church in Jones City, Rev. A. W. Fawcett officiating. Interment was made in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Deceased, who had reached the advanced age of about 80 years, had been in declining health for many months, and her death was not unexpected. However, her passing away is a sad blow to her relatives and friends, who have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
