Son of Gottfried & Maria Regina (Fahs) Feyler.

Fought in the Revolutionary War. Private in Capt. Samuel Gregg's Company, Colonel James Cargill's regiment. Enlisted 25 Aug 1775; discharged 31 Dec 1775; service 4 mos 17 days, in defense of seacoast. Company raised in St George's, Waldoboro, and Camden and stationed in said towns.
