Theresia Raska,nee(Mozisek) was born in House #55, Koprivnice,Moravia,Czech Republic to Jan Mozisek and Anna Starustka. Theresia immigrated to America November 1873 along with her husband Jan Frantisek Raska and four children, Jan Sarkander Frantisek Raska, Petr Pavel Raska, Therezia Philomena Raska, and Cyril Methud Frantisek Raska.

In Texas they went on to have four more children, Marie Theresa Raska, Anna Raska,Clara Raska,and Louis Alfonse Raska.

She was visiting her youngest son Louis Alphonse Christopher Raska in Prague Lincoln County Oklahoma when she died at his home, she was brought back to Lavaca County Texas, where she was laid to rest by her husband Jan who passed in 1913. They are both buried at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Koerth, Lavaca County, Texas.
