Mr. Newton Hill died a few days ago at his home on the Quiirks Run pike. He was in his 76th year and had been an invalid for over a year but bore his suffering patiently. He was a brother of Mr. Clarence Hill, of Harrodsburg. He was a member of the Salt River Baptist church for many years and was a good neighbor and well liked by all who knew him. Mr. Hill is survived by his wife and one child, several brothers and a host of friends. He was buried in Salt River cemetery.
