Mrs. William A. Vandivier, aged 72 years, died early Monday morning at her home on Salt river. The funeral service was held at Berea church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Dr. W. P. Harvey, and the interment was in the adjacent cemetery. Mrs. Vandivier was a splendid woman whose life exemplified her Christian faith. She had been a member of the Baptist church since girlhood. She was a daughter of the late Lud Cornish, who at one time represented this county in the legislature, and is the last of a large family of brothers and sisters.
