Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandma and yaya, Evangeline Siaperas Redmond, 71, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
She was born March 25, 1938 in Sunnyside, Utah the daughter of Pete and Anna Kanakas Siaperas. She married Dan W. Redmond, March 17, 1970 in Elko, Nevada.
Vangie enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading, working in her flower garden and traveling. The love of her life were her grandchildren and family.
She is survived be her husband Dan; son Steve Blanke (Jan), daughters Valerie Morton and Danna Redmond (Brian Pepin); nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Andy and Ted Siaperas and sister Diamond S. Fullmer.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009 at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Funeral directors Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary.
