Campobello - LUCILLE LANFORD CLAYTON, 92, of 185 Clayton Road died December 10, 2003 at Magnolia Manor of Inman. She was the widow of GERALD L. "JAKE" CLAYTON. She was the daughter of the late EDWARD H. and COY SMITH LANFORD and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where she had been active in Tweenagers of the church and Mary Harley Sunday School Class She was retired from Lyman Printing and Finishing. She is survived by one son, GERALD LANDFORD "SPANKY" CLAYTON and his wife, KAY of Campobello; a sister, HELEN L. PAGE of Dallas, TX; a grandson, JOHN CLARK CLAYTON, of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a granddaughter, LANA CLAYTON of the home. She was predeceased by two brothers, LAMAR and MAC LANFORD. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Holly Springs Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. TIM CLARK. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Teenagers of the Holly Springs Baptist Church and the Mary Harley Sunday School class will serve as honorary escorts. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Seawright Funeral Home, Inman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 251 Hannon Road, Inman, SC 29349.
