Guy Ulmer, 82 of Fort Smith, Arkansas died Tuesday August 6, 2002, in his home. He was a retired inspector for Whirlpool and of Methodist faith.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 9 at Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Emma of the home; their son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Carol Ulmer of Lewisville, Texas; a sister, Alverne Stanfill of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a brother; Joe T Ulmer of Greenwood, Arkansas and two grandchildren, Tina Ulmer of Fort Worth, Texas, and Brian Ulmer of Lewisville, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Greg and Richard Stanfill, Mark Ulmer, Don Didier, John Vozel and Eddie Ray. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ed Klinc, John Hawkins and Robert Hicks.

The family will visit with friends and family 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday August 8, at the funeral home.
