In regard to the Zerchel-Nehs Graveyard on east bank of Holman's Creek northeast of Forestville, Mr. E.A. Zirkle of Forestville wrote shortly before his death "The old graveyard used to have a good many tombstones in it, but for many years it has been unfenced. Now cattle graze over the bodies of our forefathers, most of the tombstones have disappeared."
Michel Corckel signed consent for his daughter to Henry Nease and Mary Cirkle June 10th 1791 Shenandoah County, Virginia
