ADA - Mrs. Zora Wright, 51, 623 N. Johnson st, died in her home midnight Monday after an illness of four months.
She was born in Prestonsburg, Ky., Aug. 21,1902, and resided in this community for the last 10 years.
She was a member of the United Baptist church in Alger.
In 1919 she married Fred Wright, who survives. Also surviving are her father, Harrison Williams of Prestonsburg, Ky.; seven children, Mrs. Maynard Hackworth of Ada, Mrs. Lonnie Kindle of Dola, Mrs. Norman Smith of Ada, Flora Sue Wright, at home, Aaron and Oren of Ada, Joe, at home; 11 brothers and sisters, Mrs. Eva Prater, Millie Hackworth, Dorsie Prater, Ermon and Homer Williams, all of Prestonsburg; Pearlie and Effie Hackworth of Eaton Rapids, Mich.; Clearendie Whitaker of Eaton Rapids Oma Spradlin of Cidersville, Ky.; Revis Krites of Lima; Elmer Williams of Kenton; and seven grandchildren.
The body will be removed to the residence at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to remain until time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday in the United Baptist church, Alger.
The Rev.Andrew Allen will officiate and burial will be in Preston cemetery, Alger. The Lantz funeral home, Ada, is in charge of arrangements.
