GOLIWAS Betty Hotard Goliwas entered into rest on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Wife of Walter J. Goliwas, Jr. for 52 years and best friend and love of his life for 57 years. "One of the last Great Broads". Born in New Orleans, a former resident of the "Irish Channel" and Graduate of Redemptorist High School. Resided in Covington, LA for the past 19 years. Mother of Sheila (Gary) Palmisano, Maureen (Dino) Sperandeo, Terry (Darren) Imbraguglio and the late Lisa Marie Goliwas. Mimi Darling to Lisa Marie (Michael) Burke, Leslie Anne Palmisano, Randy (Katie) Palmisano, Sean (Erika) Sperando, Michelle (Russ) Acosta and Darren Michael Imbraguglio, Jr. Great Grandmother to Gabrielle and Giana Acosta, Gavin Michael Sperandeo, Baby Sperandeo, Ava Klair Palmisano, and Grayson Burke. Daughter of the late Henry Hotard, Sr. and Lucia (Lucy) Dominque Hotard, Sister of Calvin Hotard, Alvin Hotard, Sr. and the late Henry (Hank) Hotard and Richard (Richie) Hotard, Sr. Aunt to many nieces and nephews and best friend to all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Friday evening, April 17, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Childrens Hospital of New Orleans, or St. Jude's Hospital in honor of Betty Goliwas.
