Geralene Hartline, daughter of the late Harlie Hicks and Laura Chilton Hicks was born on January 14, 1946 in Puxico, Missouri and departed this life at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on February 5, 2009 at the age of 64 years.
Mrs. Hartline was a homemaker and a resident of Dexter.
On December 8, 1961 she was united in marriage to John D. Hartline in Dudley, Missouri. Mr. Hartline survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides her husband, John Hartline of Dexter survivors include two sons, Cecil Wayne Hartline and Scott Wayne Hartline both of Dexter; by one daughter, Ginger Joree Demers of Dexter; one brother, Cecil E. Hicks of New Madrid, Missouri; four sisters, Rosie Moore of Kennett, Missouri, Pansy Franklin of Fisk, Missouri, Patsy Hastings of Yazoo, Mississippi, and Rita Martin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; also by five grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Nicholas Hartline.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday February 8, 2009. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday February 9, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dudley Cemetery in Dudley, Missouri with Rev. Johnny Bogel officiating. Interment will follow in the Dudley Cemetery.
