Born in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of Richard Bennett Martin and Buena Grigg Martin.
She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Martin; two sisters, Inez Whitaker and Dorothy McDonald; and a niece, Sandra Ingle.
The funeral is at Zion Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
