MRS. MARIAH SILVY
Died Last Night at Her Late Residence in This City.
Friends in the city will be deeply grieved to learn of the death of Mrs. Mariah Silvy, relict of the late Jos. Silvy, a former well known contractor of Wllmingtbn. The deceased lady passed away last night at her late residence, No. 411 Bladen street. Mrs, Silvy had been ill for a long time past and her death was not unexpected. During the past few weeks her condition grew much worse and she continued to sink until the end came at the hour stated.
Mrs. Silvy was in the 68th year of her age. She is survived by three daughters and two sons as follows: Mrs. J. J. Hopkins, Mrs. Hattie Bates and Mrs. Chas. Keen; Messrs. George and Walter Silvy.
Mrs. Silvy was a! consistent and faithful member of St. John's Episcopal Church.Announcement of the funeral will be made later.
