Born John H. Pease son of Elias Pease and Rose [unknown maiden name] in Mt. Vernon, NY. Sister was Maud M. Pease bn. June 1891.
I have not determined when he changed his name to Harry Pease, it may have been when he became a vaudeville performer and song writer in the early 1900s. He wrote over 50 songs during his lifetime. "Peggy O'Neill", "Ten Little Fingers And Ten Little Toes" were written in 1921 and in 1910 he wrote "That Satisfying Rag".
Harry married Ora Kinsey bn. PA in 1916 Boston, Mass. according to his obituary. They were the parents of one son.
