Buddy was black with little white socks. He had a lovely personality and was actually purchased as a new friend for our ratty Zach. Cinder and Love had passed on and we didn't want him to be alone. Rats do better when they are with a partner. Buddy ended up alone himself as he was surprisingly, our final rat.
He spent good quality time outside the cage and was a Buddy to every one of his cagemates as well as us. He was sweet and loved a good massage and grooming. He was fond of greenies, fruits, nuts, and a cozy place to curl up and sleep. He was such a nice old man in his later days.
His tail had two kinks in it. He was born with them. His daddy, Nemo, had this condition and passed it on to him genetically. It didn't hurt him or do anything negative. It just looked odd to see a smooth rat tail all of a sudden bend at close to a 90 degree angle. It was kinda funny and it was uniquely his.
He is missed and is out with all his buddies in our front yard.
