Born to Harvey and Evelyn (Fregia) Wallace, he was a lifelong resident of Hardin County.
He was a retired logger and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Honey Island. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in World War II during the Pacific Campaign. He was survived by his children, JoAnn Butler, Linda Faye Williamson, Evelyn Morton and her husband Bill and Michael Wallace and his wife Robbie; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
